Puffin and Half Puffin, issued by Martin Coles Harman in 1929. They were equivalent to the penny and halfpenny of the time. They were withdrawn quite soon after Harman lost a high profile court case, as a result of his being challenged over his claim that he was not subject to UK mainland Law. Lundy coins are still available as a collectible.

Lundy stamps are famous the world over, and this is just one example of a large number of issues and denominations issued for the worlds oldest private postal service: still operational today. Any post from the Island has to use the appropriate stamp, not to be place in the normal top right hand corner, but in the bottom left hand corner for letters; and the top left hand corner for postcards.
